racecheck awards 2017

racecheck awards 2017

Any race can qualify for the awards as long as….1) it is listed on racecheck (not that difficult, as we list more than 12k races!) and 2) it receives at least 10 reviews in that calendar year.

The great thing about these awards is that they are judged 100% by actual race participants. In our opinion, only race participants can really know how good an event was: from registration, to organiser email updates to crossing the finish line. We feel this is the only way that truly great events can be recognised and that smaller or less well-known events get a chance to make the “podium”. This in turn presents athletes with new race alternatives that they may never have heard of and keeps their race calendar fresh and interesting.

We award racecheck rosettes to the top five UK races for Road Running, Off Road Running and Triathlons. Moreover, we recognize the top UK Duathlon and, in 2017, have introduced a new category for top UK Swimming event.
