The Maidenhead Easter Ten is held on a fast, flat well-marshalled 10-mile circuit which provides an ideal test of stamina and pace over this distance.
This 10 milers is a real test - psychologically and physically. I love it!
It starts with a couple of laps of the business park and then heads around farm land and lanes, past the White Waltham airport, over the railway line through a field and a downhill last mile to the finish.
There is a lovely Japanese lady who cheers from outside her house and I have seen every year for 10 years!
And the tea and cakes, plus the massage at the end is brilliant.
A reason to look forward to Easter!
