The event started at 9.30 and and is on playing fields near Asda at Roehampton. I travelled by train and was able to get there easily via train/bus. There was staggered starts, although there were only about 730 competing. The course is 2 laps and is a little bit hilly to start but then levels out going through Wimbledon common. It is all off road and on gravel tracks, although i did fall over near the end but hitting a tree root stricking out of the ground. The event was well marshalled and sign posted and there was water stations at every 3 miles with water bottles given out. A medal,t-shirt,banana,2 snacks and a bottle of Actiph alkaline ionised water was given out on completion. I enjoyed the event and it was good value for £28.
