Organisers & marshalled were very friendly, encouraging and accommodating. The bike ride is up & down through lovely countryside with 1 compulsory foot down junction. I was held up here waiting to cross & wonder whether the organisers might consider making this junction a dead zone for timing in future. The run starts with an uphill & there's another one later. The track is narrow in places but there is just enough room to pass people coming the other way without being stung by nettles! Overall, a lovely early season event.

A great atmosphere and local event. Well run. The only problems were with the start times, taking over 3hrs from the first person to start to the last but that is due to it being pool based.

First time visit in 2017 and definitely will return. The swim is a nice quick pool, the bike leg is a ride of two halfs the first half harder than the rear . Only thing which would improve for non locals is a warming sign for 400m to the end as its a few quick turns to finish, to getting feet out of shoes is hard ready for dismount
Run route, wow it was cross country and challanging with 2 long climbs but a fair test to all
Would recommend this to others

Second time I've taken part in this event. Brilliant event friendly and we'll organised. Very welcoming to other clubs. Will definitely return for a third year

With a pool swim this sprint will be a great race for first timers, out onto the bike and it was a rolling course (legs definitly knew about the hills) round some scenic but slightly rough country roads, the run course is defintly cross country with a couple of testing hills. Overall I would say its a great race but not 1 for Pb's or flat out racing!

Was part of a relay team for this event. Absolutely loved it. Brilliantly organised well marshalled so so friendly. Hopefully we'll be back next year with more club members. And we had the added bonus of superb weather and two age cat winners! Well done Walden Tri
