Wow ! There was an awful lot of talk before hand as to whether this was gonna go ahead, but it did - and it was sort of great (should maybe write this in a few weeks when I will reflect with less of the cold still in my bones).
The course was well marshalled and marked and indeed alternative routes were offered for a particularly tough bit of the course.
On the day it was dry and the wind wasnt up so it made it as easy as it was going to be running through some snow drifts up to the top of your legs. The course was really thoroughly marked so no chance of going off route. Keeping the event on was the right shout and glad I did it, all that took part finished.
Will look to do more of the series later in the year - great medal and T Shirt!
