← Bramley 20/10

On recommendation from a fellow runner when looking for long runs as part of my London Marathon training, I entered the Bramley 20. Parking is a bit far from the start, which made the walk back after a little tricky. It's 2 x 10 mile laps round country roads. Reading Road Runners put estimated finish time pens at the start line so you could start in the right place to avoid any crushing. The weather on the day overall was pretty good (there was a breathe hailstone shower at one point). The course is quite fast with a few hills at times. Local support in places goes really quiet because of the location of the course but when it was there it really helped. Good medal and race goodie bag at the end. The marshalls were really supportive and the event was well organised.
