I found the 4min wave time between swimmers made the lanes a bit to busy,
which made it difficult to overtake the swimmer in front when you had someone coming up the other side, the 10min wave breaks from 2016 were better.
Hi Trudy - Thanks for the feedback. We have always had 4 minute wave starts at all our pool triathlons. We also have a complete 4min wave break every 5 waves ( plus an extra one for the 1st 3 waves of slower swimmers). In 2016 there was a wave break straight after your wave start which meant an 8 min gap before next swimmers came in. :-) This year, there was a wave break 1 wave before you & you were with swimmers completing 400m in 7mins or less (predicted time). Sorry it felt so different but there should not have been more than 3 people in the same lane at any time. - SBR Events
