Did this race this year, when I signed up was expecting to finish and receive a medal as that’s what it said we would get online, but all it was, was a tacky sheriffs badge which wasn’t worth having. Won’t be doing this race again or any other bys vyken event, don’t rate them. aso there other races which are on trail with spectacular views so this one isn’t really unique. Not worth the money
Hello Ruth Glad you approve of us and rate us so highly. May I just say on this reply that you didn't have a great race as you decided to run after not feeling so good so almost collapsed at the halfway point of the event. Also you knew the memento before you entered. Also, look at every other review. I feel that this is somewhat personal due to the 'rubber duck' prize comments on Facebook. So thank you for the personal review attacking the event. If your comments were legitimate then I would apologise that you didn't have a good day. However on this ocassion, it's a purely personal attack and it's a shame as I actually had some respect for you. If the event was terrible I'd hold my hands up to it, but 117 other runners don't share your opinion. All this is about was the comment on Facebook about how you tried to get as many people as possible to not run my event due to the fact that the trophies were rubber ducks and you didnt like how rubber ducks were produced. As ridiculous as this sounds. Crazy in fact. Really crazy. All because I politely told you that it wasn't cool. - Bys Vyken Events
