Everything about this race is exemplary.
Car parking- ample with signage and marshall supervision.
Registration- quick and simple. Collect a bag corresponding to wave colour with hat & timing chip already pre packed in. Personal feed station boxes too.
Briefing- concise, clear and humourous
Swim safety- it felt like having a kayaker to myself at times!! We were told in the safety briefing to keep to the right.
Feed stations- three along the route each with sweet& savoury snacks and lots of smiles. Water and flat coke too.
Finish- stunning venue at The Swan. Great medal too.
Transportation back to start- regular buses back to Wallingford (part of the entry fee, though spectator tickets could be purchased in advance)
All in all, a great event and one for the race calendar.
