← Henley Half Marathon
Oh dear. This is such a lovely route, it has a killer of a hill but gorgeous views on the downhills. But value for money it ain’t at £25 for what is a long course (10.5k) a mars bar and drink, the same rotary club medal each year and some (hate to say it) poor Marshalling. Us 10kers were ok but the half marathon runners were taken the wrong way towards the start and the marshal at the end didn’t believe the first finisher was for the half and tried to send him off again for another 10k. People were climbing hedges and the first few people ended up running 14 miles plus! Very frustrating- this is a charity fund raising race but must get the organisation in order
