← Yorkshire Marathon
This was my 1st marathon but we got really unlucky with the weather and I struggled. It was great to see that marshals were prepared and handing out foil blankets on the route. I’m local so I know the uni grounds (race start/finish) and it’s an absolute nightmare getting around eg from baggage to the start line. Always leave plenty of time or you’ll end up stuck in crowds! I enjoyed the marathon. I wouldn’t do it again as I’m not doing any more marathons (after London in April). It’s the training does me in. However, if I were to do another one then I’d happily do the Yorkshire. Definitely worth a go.
