← MK Marathon Weekend
My first ever marathon and in my home City. I trained with my local Redway Runners club for 16 wks for sub 4.00 and come race day I decided to see if I could get close to 3.45. My close friend Stephen Patey paced a group of 7 of us and im proud to say Myself & Simon Read managed to dip under in 3.44.45. Great course, fantastic local support and memorable Stadium finish at the MK Dons provided me with some great memories to cherish. I raised over £1400 for my friend Jeffs charity having lost him suddenly as I started my training. The first of many marathons.
