I absolutely loved this race.
The atmosphere is incredible there is a real electricity in the air. The race brief was thorough and methodical and the free Erdinger certainly helped! The race expo was amazing I could have have spent a fortune in my endorphin fueled state.
The swim was really nice. The out and back route was easy to sight and was really fast.
The bike was really fast. Only a couple of hills allowed me to really get some good pace. The winds a bit in your face at times but only for short periods because of the figure of 8 route.
The run is flat and fast.
Throughout the marshals were exceptional always offering you that extra boost as you go past. Really organized aid stationsstations, jaffacakes were a real treat!
Safe to say I will be back next year for sure!
