← Leiden Marathon & Half Marathon
Ran this race in May . Easy town to get to 10mins on train from Amsterdam , number pick up from church in the town , which was very smooth.
starts with HM , but a good touch is that as you leave your starting pen and move towards start , you are funnelled through this stopping pushing and shoving and allowing you to get into stride easily.
lots of early support however when marathon splits fromHM it can be quiet until villages .
Was warm on day of run and organisers ensured there's plenty of sponges all along route
nice medal , lovely town , flat route . Would recommend
