Have done a few Tri Adventure races now and they are consistently great. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere for newcomers (especially kids). Always good locations to access coming from London and feel like you’re really away from the city. Love the navigation element as it means it’s not just the fastest runner who does best - good navigation and strategy mean you can do well without having to be the fittest.

This is a great race and it was my second year. We are local and live nearby so run on these trails regularly, but having a different purpose (locating the dibs) makes it so much better than a standard run. It was better than 2017, although not as well attended, because I felt the controls were more evenly distributed without a large cluster like last year. It made it much more enjoyable and you could plan a really interesting route through various woodland areas. We brought 6 runners (who all thoroughly enjoyed it) from our local trail running club and will aim for more next year. As long as this event continues here, I will keep attending. The trails in the area are great and makes for an excellent event. I would recommend it to any trail runner in the south east and the organisation of the whole event is fantastic! 10/10 :)

Thanks, Nick, for your comments, and we're really glad you enjoyed the event. Your comment regarding the distribution of the checkpoints is noted, and we'll ensure we do this just as well next year. It's a pity about the local support. We did a lot of marketing in the area, and yet we were down in numbers on last year. We look forward to welcoming you and your fellow runners next year.
