Good event, not much bad you could say really, organisation and instruction 2nd to none. The event on private owned land so totally safe and the venue a famous F1 race track. Just a shame that not more spectators and support points around the main track. The lack of for such a high event tainted it slightly. Parking, organised and local companies got behind this event making every thing as great as possible. 

Second time I've done this race and definitely learnt a few things from my first outing. 

• Arrival by 9.30 is a double edged sword. You get a great parking space that will ensure you get off sight easily but you also have to linger around for 2.5 hours before the start.
• If you hold your nerve you will be able to use the loos very close to the start with virtually no queues.
• The goody bag needs chocolate!!

Overall. Decent race and should be considered for anyone hunting a PB.

First time running at Silverstone. PB achieved for half marathon (mind you its only my second and the first was hilly!). Marshalls were very good. Plenty of toilets. Only downside was lack of hand washing facilities in toilets in paddock area. 

 On arriving the direction to car parking was excellent but on leaving, not so good. There was confusion all round as to how to exit the circuit.

Most probably will run it again.

I've raced this the last two years and have to say it's one of my favourites. Unlike the logistics of getting to many town or city half marathons and having parking issues, everything is on site. The course is flat and fast and it's a huge event - 10,000 or so runners, so the support is good. Very well organised, everything is really slick.

I would recommend this to anyone, and will continue to attend every year as my annual local half marathon!
