This course was designed for the very defination of undulating but not for bad reasons. The course was very up and down but there were no significant hills requiring excess effort. It was easy to sign up and only cost £16 (£14 for affiliated). The roads were closed making it safe for all. Some of the roads were quiet lanes which required a bit of effort to avoid the horse poo but that's what happens when you're in the countryside. There was just the 1 water station halfway round which was only staffed by 1 adult and 2 kids which may have caused a hold up for some runners. Due to the rural location there weren't many locals out supporting but it meant I could just focus on my own race. Marshalls were dotting around, mainly where roads were closed. At the end of the race everyone got a medal, banana and a Mars bar. Overall for the cost, location and scenic course I'd run this race again.
